#What Boppa collects

Boppa does not require an account and does not store any personal data to any Boppa server.

#Media source packages

Boppa fetches its bundled app configuration from static.boppa.app/iOS-config.json.

#Third party websites

Boppa has no built in content catalog. Playback happens through a media source, a package that points Boppa at a specific website and runs its own code and embedded web views on your device. When you use a media source, you are interacting with that website directly, including any cookies, logins, or data collection it performs. Those interactions are governed by the third party site's own privacy policy, not Boppa's. Boppa does not control, monitor, or receive data from these sites beyond what is needed to display and play their content.

If a media source requires you to log in, that login happens inside a web view for that source, the same as it would in a regular browser tab. Each media source keeps its own cookies and site data, separate from every other source. Boppa does not see or store your credentials for third party sites.
